Rookie Rugby - Coed Non-Contact

Palatine Rookies (U15 Coed) Non-Contact

Summer Touch Rugby

We have offered U13 Coed Touch Rugby Camps through the Palatine Park District every summer since 2008.

We will hold a Free Clinic one evening in Mid-June for interested players.  Teams will be formed to play Touch Olympic Rugby.

For all players that have fun and want to continue, we will run an 8 session Touch Rugby League 6:30 – 7:30 pm twice a week through mid-July (no league play on July 4th).

We’ll play on the outdoor field at Falcon Recreation Center.  Each player will be registered with USA Rugby and receive an authentic rugby ball & T-Shirt.

Cost has been approx. $ 65 per player.

Registration must be done through the Palatine Park District or the Salt Creek Park District.

Look for this camp in the annual Palatine Park District Summer Program Catalog.

Palatine Jaycees Hometown Fest

We participated in the Palatine Jaycees Family Day at the 2016 Hometown Fest and hope to do so again in 2017. High School Players and coaches introduced kids and their parents to Touch Rugby from 1 - 2 pm during the Family Day activities.  See our Facebook Page for pictures!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Our adult men's club sponsor, the Northwest Woodsmen, host an annual Turkey Bowl (Rugby Style!) on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

This is an All Ages, Coed Touch Rugby event followed by a Hot Dog Social.

The 8th annual Turkey Bowl (Rugby Style!) will be held on Sat Nov 26, 2016.

Winter Touch Rugby

Please see the Winter catalogs of the Palatine Park District or the Salt Creek Park District for our Indoor Touch Rugby camp. We conduct the camp indoors at the Falcon Recreation Center.  Each player will be registered with USA Rugby and receive an authentic rugby ball & T-Shirt.

We will hold a Free Clinic before the camp begins for interested players.

For all players that have fun and want to continue, we will run an 4 week Touch Rugby League in late January and early February.
